Part of me wants to write A LOT about my recent journey to Japan and how much it has changed how I have been looking at my life, but my house remains a bombsite since my mother’s diagnosis and passing. Using this bank holiday weekend to ensure I have a happy home, because a happy home means a happy mind and less guilt trips about it being messy…not that anyone other than myself has been giving me the guilt trips!
I also have a lot of pen pal letters to be catch up on too, so I should tackle those after the tidy up. Then and only then can I settle down to write properly!
I want to be writing more, I have missed the enjoyment of it all. Just need to find (and tidy) my happy place the noo!
In the meantime, here is a few wee snaps from Japan ❤

Hello and thank you for popping over to my personal blog!
I won't promise you any posts of incredible stature here, its more a collective of the stories of a woman working and living in Glasgow, Scotland.
I enjoy travelling, reading, writing letters to my penpals, photography, playing video games, my two wee cats Ellie and Susie, charity shop hunting, cooking, baking and going on adventures with my friends or my husband Johnny. You can expect to see lots about them all in my posts.
I am a first time mum, giving birth to Emily in August 2019, so expect some baby related posting here from time to time!
I love living in Glasgow, even after living here for years, I still find new places to explore and find.
Please do not hesitate to contact me, my blog email is weefatonion@gmail.com

I love the characters of the Japanese alphabet, I don’t know why.
